MedTouch CEO Paul Griffiths Recognized by the Business Community for Leadership and Innovation

Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40 winners are viewed as the region’s next generation of leaders in business, health care, the law and public service

October 14, 2008 - Cambridge, MA - MedTouch, a leading provider of interactive, web-based solutions for healthcare organizations, announced today that CEO Paul Griffiths has been honored as a 2008 40 under 40 winner by the Boston Business Journal. 40 under 40 winners are comprised of professionals under the age of 40 who are recognized as the greater Boston area’s next generation of business leaders and innovators.

“Boston’s competitive advantage comes from the collective brainpower of its young professional community,” said Michael Olivieri, publisher of the Boston Business Journal. “This year’s 40 under 40 class represents the deep talent pool and energy that gives Boston its economic edge.”

There were nearly 300 nominations in 2008, nearly a 50 percent jump from 2007. Honorees are selected by an editorial committee after the Boston Business Journal solicits nominations from the business community.

“Paul’s ability to strategically grow a business and implement a plan of action is unsurpassed by many entrepreneurs,” said Tessa Misiaszek, who submitted the nomination on behalf of Griffiths. “Paul has a vision of how to create a culture within the organization that is innovative, dynamic and fun, while at the same time working with clients to ensure they have a holistic solution to quickly differentiate themselves from their competition. His aptitude as a young leader in Boston will undoubtedly help him become a leader on the national stage.”

In her nomination form, Misiaszek also discussed Griffiths’ efforts in starting the Boston Area Task Force of a nonprofit organization called Love 146, which addresses the tragedy of child sex trafficking and exploitation through prevention and aftercare.

“The BBJ takes pride in looking back over the last decade and seeing our 40 under 40 alums become leaders in business, health care, the law and public service,” said George Donnelly, editor of the Boston Business Journal. “Everyone in this year’s class holds the potential to be leaders in the near future, and we look forward to seeing the contributions of this next generation of professionals.”
